During the off season its good to maintain a good diet and a healthy workout. Getting yourself in shape does not come down too working out all the time but what you eat and how much of it you do eat. Most of the time your diet all comes down to the sports you play, Football you should eat a lots of starch and beefy foods too keep you going, unlike wrestling you have too watch what you eat unless you are the starting heavy weight for 285 lbs. The key too losing weight is fighting the urge to keep eating its all in your head. The less you eat your stomach will soon adjust to normal and healthy proportions. Drinking lots of water is crucial, staying hydrated is going to help you at any level building muscle and changing your body is a lot harder dehydrated. Yogurt, fruit, chicken, and beef are all healthy for you of course in the right proportions! protein is always good when you want to stock up a little before Hockey, of Football because the extra weight helps you truck kids. The two biggies for young people are fast food and sodas. You can't perform at your peak when you're eating food that is over-processed and made for mass production, it slows you down! Many people clam they don't like breakfast, but always wonder why they are tired and slow in the morning and throughout the day, EAT BREAKFAST because in not only gives you energy but it also helps with hygiene. Your stomach acid sits in your stomach not breaking down your food causing the smell to rise through your esophagus. lets make smart decisions athletes.
